The Women In Security Documentary
An award-winning feature documentary bringing together women across physical security, cybersecurity, law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security, risk, and technology.
The Women In Security Documentary brings together women working across physical security, cybersecurity, law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security, risk, technology, and related professions.
Through their voices, the film explores the experiences, obstacles, accomplishments, leadership, and future of women helping shape the security profession.
Created through five years of development, 36 recorded interviews, filming in seven locations, collaboration, and extensive post-production, the film has grown beyond the screen through premieres, conferences, panels, educational events, association partnerships, international screenings, and continuing content.
The production demonstrated that an independently produced documentary can identify a built-in audience, bring people together around shared experiences, and create meaningful connections among individuals, companies, associations, chapters, universities, sponsors, and communities.
It also demonstrated something larger. A story rooted in one profession can reach far beyond it.
